KBA A 200S for Egyptian book printer
Another GWS press has headed for Egypt, this time to the city of Tanta. Book printer El Kholy Printing has ordered a KBA A 200S book press for the production of school books in the Tanta region.
GWS' Egyptian Sales Director Sami Adams is content with the latest sale. 'We are proud to have been selected as the supplier of the first web offset press to the El Kholy company. It underlines the solid reputation that GWS has in the Egyptian market.'
The 8-unit, 578mm cut off book press was originally installed at an Italian quality printer in Florence. The dismantling work was done by GWS and its Italian partners.
'The supply of book printing presses has become a unique specialty for GWS', says Arthur Viguurs, GWS' area sales executive for the Middle East region. 'Our work in Egypt over the last 20 years has helped establish a reputation as a reliable and knowledgeable partner”.
At the time of this press release the press at El Kholy has already commenced production.
