GWS Printing Systems is a global supplier of premium webfed offset presses, auxiliaries and related systems to the printing industry. Over the past 30+ years GWS has developed from a traditional trading company to a highly specialised provider of technical project solutions. This includes services for engineering, project management, installation, training and after-sales service.
A specialized team of in-house consultants is available to determine the needs of publishers and printers in order to compose tailor made solutions.
The GWS concept is unique. Besides supplying complete webfed offset press systems, GWS provides technical advanced solutions for press upgrades, web width modifications, variable web width solutions, press reconfigurations and the related services for dismantling, transport, installation, training and after-sales support. At the GWS in-house engineering and design department a number of new products have been developed over the years, such as the compact GWS infeed and outfeed modules, webbing up systems and the variable web width kit for double width presses.
GWS is also recognized by leading publishers and printers as their partner for appraisals, press evaluations and exclusive sales partner for the marketing and sale of web offset equipment, auxiliaries and mailroom systems. GWS has exclusive arrangements with some of the worlds leading banks, insurance and leasing companies.
The company is based in Nieuwkuijk, The Netherlands. Through its sister company Machinery Care, GWS can also supply tailor made solutions for preventive maintenance, service contracts, 24 hour service (including service desk) and press removals all over the world. Sales support is available through the GWS subsidiary offices in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, South Africa and USA.

NEWS: KBA C32 LED-UV press up and running at German quality printer Schaffrath
The management of German printer Schaffrath have announced that the KBA C32 commercial press, which was acquired last year through GWS Printing Systems, has now been taken into successful production. Schaffrath’s CEO Alexander Hornen highlights the unique concept behind this press. Based upon the companies strong belief that production based upon LED-UV curing will be the new way forward the KBA press system has been equipped with LED-UV curing technology replacing the traditional gas dryer. According to Alexander Hornen this suits the company’s future strategy to fulfill the highest standards when it comes to offering a sustainable high quality printed product. > more
